These shelters are mobile structures and therefore require maintenance, please see our advice below to ensure that your shelter stays safe and sound.
Diagonal braces must remain fitted at all times.
Regular checks should be made on all ground stakes to ensure they have not come loose. Diagonal braces will also require frequent checks to ensure they are secure, solid and their bolts are tight. Due to wet ground conditions and strong winds these can come loose.
Failure to follow these maintenance instructions will invalidate any warranty.
Due to the nature of the natural external timber cladding, on some occasions it may be necessary to replace some boards due to splitting or cupping. This is easily done by removing the 5 screws that hold the board in place, then slip the board out and re-insert a new board. We do supply extra cladding boards with every shelter.
The internal Ply kick-boards on a standard shelter is untreated and we recommend that this is painted before erection, we can paint/weatherproof in the workshop, creating a better finish as all sides would be covered, this is at an extra cost of £150 inc Vat.
